The Road by Cormac McCarthy

The Road

There is a movie, but the book is creepier :). It's about a world that was sent into a distopia due to a meteor strike. A man and a boy head south for warmer weather. There's little food, travelling cannibals, winter is quickly approaching... and it's beautiful in a poetic, claw your eyes out it's 100% horrifying sort of way. It's a great book.

Transformers: The Last Knight

I may be a bit biased with this movie. While not the biggest fan of the Bay movies, I love Transformers. i'm excited for this movie. I've been watching the countdown on the TF wiki since it started! (Actually a little before that) So when I sawthe trailer, I was worried. When I heard Hot Rod was in the cast, I was pissed. Whern I found out we STILL don't know what happened to Sunstreaker, I was Livid. But I'm coping.

Here's what movie insider has to say:
he Last Knight shatters the core myths of the Transformers franchise, and redefines what it means to be a hero. Humans and Transformers are at war, Optimus Prime is gone. The key to saving our future lies buried in the secrets of the past, in the hidden history of Transformers on Earth. Saving our world falls upon the shoulders of an unlikely alliance: Cade Yeager (Mark Wahlberg); Bumblebee; an English Lord (Sir Anthony Hopkins); and an Oxford Professor (Laura Haddock).

Disney's Cars 3

Cars 3! I personally thought the cars movies were great. Planes was really good too, I loved the idea  behind a new little engine that could. But the trailer for this movie scares me. McQueen! No! I don't want to deal with traumatized children. In a new generation of cars, McQueen is no longer valid in the sport he loves, that he was made for. Coming to theaters June 16th.

The Mummy

Another Reboot! I can sort of remember seeing these movies. Never been a big scary movie person, but I remember only being mildly creeped out. It may have helped that I had an awesome time riding the mummy at universal. This should have the same plot as the old mummy. Maybe it will be a good reboot? Coming to you June 9th. Enjoy, my horror movie fans!

Captain Underpants: The First Epic Movie

I have no love for this series. I've never read it, my brother has, it seems pretty kiddish, and the plot was pretty boring for someone my age. The movie is about George and Harold, and the superhero they created going on a bit of  rampage. Coming June 2nd.

DC Comics Wonder Woman

Wonder Woman! If you didn't know, she had her big debut in Batman vs. Superman. Based on comic knowledge, Wonder Woman, or Diana, is an Amazonian Princess raised on the island of Themyscira. According to what I've read, this will be true for the movie. Only the world is being threatened so she leaves the island and we get to see her become a hero. Coming June 2nd.

Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Long Haul

A family road trip! That's bound to go well, especially with Greg's newest scheme to get famous. Due to arrive in theaters May 19th

Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales

Well it's been a while since I last updated, but I haven't missed too much. What'd you think of Civil War? Doctor Strange? Ghost int he Shell? Guardians of the Galaxy 2? (Baby Groot!!!!)

We all remember the Pirates of the Caribbean. I remember being creeped out by un-dead half fish men. (Thanks for the nightmares!) Now we have a new movie coming after all these years-Dead Men Tell No Tales. Jack Sparrow finds winds of ill fortune blowing his way once more and the creepy ghost pirates and his old friend Captain Salazar. He's escaped from devil's triangle and wants to kill every pirate at sea. Sparrow sets out to find the Trident of Poseidon, a powerful artifact that just might save them. Coming to you May 26th
