Shadowhunters-The TV Show

I hope someone is as excited as I am for the new TV show premiering on January 12, 2016, called Shadowhunters. The show is based off the second series by Cassandra Clare about a race of Nephilim-half human, half angels, who's duty is to hunt the demons that enter our world. The Mortal Instruments Series by Cassandra Clare, which takes part after her first series, The Infernal Devices, focuses on a girl named Clary Fray, who finds out she is a Shadowhunter, and delves into an alternate New York that calls itself the Downworld

The Trials of Apollo: The Hidden Oracle

Rick Riordan couldn't stay away from the world of Greek demigods very long. March 2016, the Trials of Apollo Book 1, The Hidden Oracle, is due to be released. Apollo is punished by Zeus and forced to wander the streets of New York as a teenager with no powers and no sun chariot. Supposedly, each chapter will start with one of Apollo's famous haikus. We will hear/see our favorite demigods, but they won't be the main characters, and supposedly won't play a significant role.

I think the Hidden Oracle will finally tell us what happened to the Oracle of Delphi that went silent in Blood of Olympus.

Divergent Trilogy Allegiant Movie

Beatrice Prior and Tobias Eaton fight to end the Bureau of Genetic Welfare's authoritarian reign over the United States. After the earth-shattering revelations of The Divergent Series: Insurgent, Tris must escape with Four and go beyond the wall enclosing Chicago. For the first time ever, they will leave the only city and family they have ever known in order to find a peaceful solution for their embroiled city. Once outside, old discoveries are quickly rendered meaningless with the revelation of shocking new truths. Tris and Four must quickly decide who they can trust as a ruthless battle ignites beyond the walls of Chicago which threatens all of humanity. In order to survive, Tris will be forced to make impossible choices about courage, allegiance, sacrifice and love. In theaters March 18th, 2016.

If you ask me, Allegiant sort of ruined the Divergent series. I couldn't even get through the book. I was told a huge spoiler though...and the sad thing is, I read Divergent before it was really popular! I really doubt I'll be reading Four though...I didn't even know there was a new book until recently. Wonder why they still call it the Divergent Trilogy?

Lady Midnight

I recently discovered the magic of pre-ordering. Thank, Barnes and Noble, for this amazing and magical thing that saves me from long lines, mobs of fan girls, and possible the occasional fangod. (I'm looking at you Aphrodite))

But off my obsessive PJO fangirling (Percy Jackson and the Olympians or the Camp Half-Blood Chronicles, I'm completely obsessed) this is about the Shadowhunter fandom.

As I would be forced to say in Spanish class, cazadores de sombras.

Anyways! The first book for Cassandra Clare's The Dark Artifices Series is due to come out March 8th, 2016! I can't wait to see more of the hot head Emma Cairstairs, can you?

Magnus Chase and Season 9 of Doctor Who

Sorry I've been gone so long. School and all...and I sort of lost sight of what this blog is about...

But no more!

I have joined several new fandoms, my favorite by far being the Camp Half-Blood Chronicles. The author is Rick Riordan, and his new series with Magnus Chase comes out Oct. 6th! Its called the Sword of Summer..or was it Sumner?

And then we have the new season of Doctor Who!! Season 9 aired last week, and the second episode followed shortly after. The Magicians Meditation and The Witches Apprentice are memory bringers for our Whovians who have loved him since they saw the First Doctor, and tear jerkers for everyone.
